In Rowatt, Saskatchewan, we split and polish peas, and clean and bag whole peas, chickpeas and lentils for both domestic and export markets. Dry field pulses, all non-GM, are purchased from growers near our facilities in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. BCP prides itself on quality, fast-cooking peas for the canning market, super-polished split peas for retail markets, and grain-free peas for the pet food market worldwide.

In Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, we mill 'Best' pulse flours and pea fiber. These products are used in baked goods, cereals, extruded snacks, nutrition bars, pasta, soups and sauces, health drinks, and processed meat products and pet foods throughout the world.

'Best' Pea Fiber is approved by Health Canada's Bureau of Nutritional Science, is generally regarded as safe (GRAS) under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ("FD&C Act"), and is approved by the USDA FSIS as a safe and suitable ingredients used in the production of meat, poultry and eggs .

The Portage facility also produces pet food-grade 'Best' Pea Fiber (known as Best Pea Bran Meal), and 'Best' Pulse Flours, which are highly valued in bakery, meat and other food products as well as grain-free pet food and nutrition products.
